Privacy Policy Overview
In order to participate in some of the talkfar activities, you will
need to register with us. The registration form will require some
personal information, such as your email, name, phone number, and address.
This information is required so that we can reasonably insure that each
registration belongs to a real person or company.
Confidentiality
The information you provide in your registration remains strictly confidential
to all third parties unless legally required. Sellers that post items for sale
will have their contact information provided to another member if and only if
that member is attempting to purchase their listed products. This is the only
case in which your personal information will be available to anyone other than
talkfar LLC and its subsidiaries.
We will not release this information, to any
other parties, unless required by applicable laws.
Law Enforcement
talkfar does cooperate with law enforcement
inquiries, as well as other third parties to enforce laws, including but not
limited to: intellectual property rights, fraud and other rights. We may (and
you authorize us to) disclose any information about you to law enforcement or
other government officials as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or
appropriate, in connection with an investigation of fraud, intellectual property
infringements, or other activity that is illegal or may expose us or you to
legal liability.
Email Contacts
talkfar as a policy does not "sell" email
addresses to any third parties. Your email address is not displayed anywhere on the
site. If someone wishes to contact you (or you wish to contact another member),
the initial communication is via email, through the talkfar
system.
Any information we collect through the normal process of supporting site transactions
remains the property of talkfar, LLC and its
subsidiaries and will not be sold to third parties. We respect your privacy, and
that is why we require registration and strictly prohibit any member from including
contact information in their postings.
Disclosure of Information
Due to the current laws of the USA, we cannot ensure that all of your private communications
and other personally identifiable information will never be disclosed in ways not otherwise
described in this Privacy Policy. By way of example (without limiting the foregoing), we may
be forced to disclose information to the government or third parties under certain circumstances,
third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications, or
users may abuse or misuse your information that they collect from our Site. Therefore, although
we use industry standard practices to protect your privacy, we do not promise, and you should
not expect, that your personally identifiable information or private communications will always
remain private.
If you have any additional questions about talkfar's registration
process, please contact us.
